Tall Trees Community Centre

We were recently approached by the “Next Gen” working group who asked if we would like to assist with a community project to renovate the Tall Trees Community Centre.

Tall Trees Community Centre is located 2 miles from RNAS Yeovilton and aims to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere that offers all service families, friends and veterans a sense of belonging and mutual support.

Four of our painters, along with our Resident Liaison Officer, Josie Bowden, and other volunteers, went to the community center on a Saturday to paint the entrance hall, main bar, and kitchen. We donated our time and materials to this project.

Our efforts were appreciated by the Armed Forces Community, who thanked us for "making a difference" by brightening up the community centre to create a welcoming space for all who need it.
