Huge congratulations to Chris Austin who has achieved 25 years’ service with Jones Building Group!

In January 1990, Chris joined Jones Building Group as a Painter and Decorator in the Exeter Area, and after 3 months became a Foreman covering Stroud, East Devon, Pool, Windsor and Exeter.

In 1997, Chris became a Branch Manager for our Exeter Office and in 1998 became a Branch Director. In December Chris progressed onto the role of Area Director for the Devon region and in 2020 became a qualified fire door installer and maintainer, as well as a fire stopping installer under BM Trada.  This has led to Chris becoming Fire Safety Director and is responsible for our Fire Safety Solutions division, based at Yeovil Head Office.

On his achievement, Chris said: “I am proud and honoured to have achieved 25 years’ service with Jones Building Group. I have worked with some great people and have    been    given the    opportunity   and   experience   to   develop throughout the company. Thank you to those who have helped me along the way.”
