Apprentice Administrator (Portishead)

 Jones Building Group are looking to appoint an Apprentice Administrator  based at our office in Portishead.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy office to assist in daily administration duties whilst working towards an NVQ level 2 in Customer Service Practitioner.

Duties:

  • The apprentice will be working alongside the office teams to assist with customer service, order processing, logistics, purchasing and general administrative tasks.
  • Answer telephones/emails and deal with queries
  • Raise purchase orders / subcontract orders 
  • Updating spreadsheets
  • Frank outgoing post
  • Assist departments within the business with various tasks plus various admin / secretarial duties as required

Desired skills:

  • Quick learner
  • Strong willingness to learn
  • Competent with Microsoft Office and have knowledge and experience of Excel and Word 
  • Strong organisational skills and confidence to deal with all queries (phone/email)

  • Must have an interest in the area of business and administration 

Desired Qualifications

Maths and English (GCSE) – Minimum Grade C or above
